I have a question for my followers…

posted in: blogs, Thankful | 14

I will be moving my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org in the next day or so.. I wanted to do this move so I could do more with the blog and possibly try to earn a bit to help me and the kids. There will also be a cost in the blog now as I will have to pay for hosting but it’s the only way I have any freedom with it.

I really have received a lot of support from you all and I wanted to ask YOU what you thought of me adding a bit of ads and doing posts on products or reviews? I really do want to know what you think. If it would put you out or get under your skin at all.  I will keep my normal content as well and hopefully get better at blogging as time goes on!

Please leave me a comment, I am sincere about wanting to know what you think.

Thank you for all your support!

  1. I wouldnt mind at all, as long as your usual posts are still there and it would help you out so why not :-D xxx

    • Thanks Fizzy… I will have to get the blog moved and go from there.. Your opinion is important to me, thank you for responding :)

  2. Go for it! There’s nothing wrong with it as long as it’s handled tastefully, and you strike me as the type to do it right. I’ll sign up for it. I’m going to be adding Amazon to my blogs as long as I can figure out the linking. Best of luck with this.

    • Thanks so much for the compliment.. I will try to do it tastefully and not cheesy! LOL I appreciate your comment and support!!

  3. I think it’s a great idea. You’ll enjoy it so much more, even if it can be a pain in the butt.

  4. Sounds like a great idea really :)

    • Hey Kathleen… I appreciate your feedback. Your opinion is an important one to me, since you were one of the reasons I started a blog!! :)

I see no problem with ads to defray your costs. Then again, I’m incredibly cheap & never pay for anything I don’t have to! ;-) Bon chance!

  6. I agree, Shauna. I don’t see why there seems to be such an issue about SM & business. I think we we mix it well. As long as the content is there, people will read it. It’s like life, isn’t it? We always shop at the same independent grocer because we like the family that owns the business. I say go for it. :)

Do what you have to do. Free content along with things that help pay bills is a normal mix. Do a search on Brankica Underwood. She’s a must connect when monetizing.
