Thank you to Loving healing press for allowing me the opportunity to review this book. This particular book interests me because my youngest daughter has a touch of this sensory issue. SPD stands for Sensory Processing Disorder. Thankfully this disorder for my daughter was not severe enough to affect her on all levels but not everyone is that lucky.
I want to thank Cindy Johnson for submitting this article, I hope you will find it interesting and informative. She is a great writer and I am very happy to have her articles here on my blog.

Brain chemistry is so important to how you feel and process thoughts. If you feel like you’re living in zombieland, walking through life in a fog, or unable to think as well as you once did, a few simple changes to your diet could literally change your life.
Polyphenols – Never heard of polyphenols? But you’ve heard that drinking red wine is good for you, right? The component of red wine that’s so important is polyphenols, a powerful antioxidant. But don’t worry, if you’re not a wine drinker, you can get the same benefit from blackberries, concord grape juice and -wait for it- chocolate. Polyphenols reduce inflammation and help build neural pathways, increasing communication between brain cells and blood flow to the brain.

I have looked into this Hormone Oxytocin. It has amazing affects on our bodies and feelings and is sometimes called the “Love Hormone” or “cuddle chemical”. It is produced mainly via social physical touching, hugging, cuddling, sex, eye contact even. A large dose is present in women that are giving birth and it seems to help with bonding with a new child. They even say it is produced when you are genuinely thankful to others and express that thankfulness.
Why would you want to increase Oxytocin? Oxytocin increases your pleasure in touch, whether it is holding hands, hugging a friend, or being intimate with someone you care about. Why wouldn’t we want to increase the pleasures in our life.

I recently had a scare with my heart, was carrying too many projects and too much stress and I was attempting to pass the California State Insurance License Exam. I found out this week the problem with my heart is really just the murmur/defect I was born with and that it should never cause me a real problem. YAY..TIME TO CELEBRATE!!
Today I passed the Insurance Licensing exam hence the title “Accomplishments”. Now it is time to crack down straighten things out and get back to my blog and my purpose. I cannot take on as much as I was doing before but I want to get back to writing this blog and researching over on FromHeart2Soul.com, finding my light, my soul and bringing it home.
This next week I will be back and ready to do some writing. I will work tomorrow but will be back Monday 07/16/12!
I hope I haven’t lost all of you by now! ♥♥♥
What does the Bipolar week ahead have in store for me? A while back I wrote about That Bipolar Mood Seeping Back into my Life.. it is still seeping in! I am trying so hard to be positive and feel happiness but lately I don’t seem to feel much of anything and I find myself saying negative things. I don’t feel in touch with my thoughts, then some negative topic comes spilling out of my mouth and I am in a sense surprised by it. This is a new feeling for me, I am not sure how to tackle it.
I have been having an issue with my heart and I am trying not to think the worst as I did when I was told it was likely a real problem. Maybe that has set me off a bit or maybe the job or maybe the boredom I am feeling with not being busy like I was with the blog and all the activity. I really am not sure why I feel the way I do or should I say not feel.
I have this empty feeling that I just can’t shake!
Hey everyone I came across this on Facebook and I thought it was fun. You can test your skills on other social media as well.
I know most of us don’t want to hear that bullies are human. I fully understand why we don’t want to hear it, my daughter was bullying for years until I involved the school and took control. Bullies tend to be people with no empathy for others and they need to be taught empathy. The problem is getting parents to help and admit the issue.
I came across this website and blog post tonight on twitter and I feel you ALL need to read this post. She talks about how bullies are human and what we can do to help them to learn empathy and stop the bullying of others.
There are several good links within her article and I am asking you click the link below and read this post about bullies:
It is compassion and caring like this that will change the terrible situation of bullying. I hope you enjoy this site and please let me know what you think of it..
Go share your love with someone, even if it is just a passing smile to a stranger on the street!!

I apologize for the delay in posting here, I have been dealing with some health issues and a sick child and felt the need to take a break and regroup. I am still in the regrouping stage but I thought I would share a bit with you.
Not only had I taken on too much responsibility online but I am having some health issues that have really stressed me. I am fighting my depression as usual, but not finding it easy. I tend to over think everything and anticipate what will happen next when I have no idea what the next step is, and that is really hard on a depressed mind. One day I am seriously depressed and the next I am coping alright.
